Historic Resources Inventory: Community Outreach Meeting

Please join the Planning and Community Development department and the project team for the second Community Outreach Meeting. At the meeting, City staff and the consultant team will discuss the current status of the HRI Update project.

The City of Santa Monica is currently updating its Historic Resources Inventory (HRI), a database which lists existing and potential historic resources throughout the City and provides an important foundation for implementation of the Historic Preservation Program. The City has engaged the services of a professional consulting firm, Architectural Resources Group, to survey all structures built 40 years ago or more (through 1977) and the development of historical context statements describing the City’s neighborhood, architectural, cultural, and social history.
