Your donations to the Conservancy go directly to our work to preserve the architectural and cultural heritage of Santa Monica – and bring you exclusive membership benefits like discounts to tours and events and complimentary admission to next month’s Holiday Party.

With the support of members and friends like you, the Conservancy's achievements in 2011 included:

- receiving a prestigious grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation toward the rehabilitation of the Shotgun House as a Preservation Resource Center for our community – one of only 12 such awards in the greater Los Angeles area;

- Being selected to organize and host the 2011 California Preservation Conference – “Preservation on the Edge” – a statewide educational event attended by more than 650 participants;

- Offering informative tours and lectures including last Fall’s In the Canyon: Mid-Century Modern, as well as our ongoing Annenberg Beach House and Downtown Walking Tours; and

- Rallying residents to convince the Santa Monica City Council to fund the renovation of the iconic mid-century Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
