The City of Santa Monica is in the process of soliciting public input for a major rewrite of the community's development rules. The Conservancy encourages all residents to let their voices be heard on a host of issues, including preservation.

As part of the city's efforts to get the public thinking about development and what kind of city Santa Monicans would like to live in 10 or 20 years from now, the city is offering a historical photo quiz. As the city's website says: "Before moving forward, it's always a good idea to look back at where you've been."

The quiz features several photos of old Santa Monica and asks if you can recognize the locations and guess which decade the photo was taken. Give it a try!
