Join Conservancy docents for a trip to San Diego and enjoy music, the arts and architecture, and dinner at the former Marion Davies Beach House bar. Explore unique San Diego cultural and historic sites.

Our trip will include a stop in Carlsbad, a coastal gem, a day at the beautiful and renowned 112 acre Balboa Park– home to 17 museums and galleries, including the Old Globe Theatre, Artisan Village, Japanese Friendship Garden, International Cottages, Spreckels Organ Pavilion, Botanical Garden and so much more. We will also experience early California history in charming Old town San Diego with its museums and historic structures, including the Cosmopolitan Hotel (originally the Juan Bandini family home), heritage parks, shops, restaurants, mariachis and margaritas! The trip will conclude with dinner at The Red Fox Steak House in the Beach House Bar (acquired at auction in the 1950s).

Cost: $175 for double occupancy / $265 for single occupancy. The trip includes overnight accommodations at Best Western Hacienda Hotel in Old Town, buffet breakfast at The Tequila Factory, Balboa Park Historic Architectural & Landscape Tour, admission to The Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, dinner at the Red Fox Steak House, and charter bus transportation.
