The California Preservation Conference returns to Pasadena to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its founding. Along with lead partner Pasadena Heritage and 500 preservation and design professionals, guests can expect to be inspired, informed and challenged as the conference examines current trends, technology and important issues affecting the future of historic preservation in California.
Over 40 educational sessions, mobile workshops, tours and special events planned to showcase Pasadena’s spectacular landmarks, landscapes and ground-breaking technologies at the conference. Events and study tours include “Exploring Los Angeles’ Union Station: History, Architecture, Rehabilitation and Future Vision,” “Restoration and Sesimic Retrofit of Los Angeles City Hall,” “Resiliency: Defining the New Buzz Word and How it is Shaping Historic Preservation” and more.
